Every Thermalite Plantation Shutter is guaranteed Australian-made and manufactured in our modern Brisbane factory. Made from a dense, non-toxic polymer, Thermalite has the look and feel of wood — with major advantages. It's water resistant, fire retardant, and provides over two to three times the insulation of wood and vinyl shutters, ideal for internal and external use in homes, townhouses, hotels, hospitals, resorts and restaurants.
Shutters can be custom-made to fit any window or door in fixed, hinged, sliding and bi-fold styles, with elliptical louvres available in widths from 64 to 90 mm. The superb painted finish won't yellow like other shutters, keeping heat out through the Queensland summer while brightening any room with style.
