Search for shutter installers and you will get a long list, all with clean photography and confident copy. The differences that actually determine whether you are happy in five years are measurement accuracy, what the product is made of, and who is liable when something goes wrong.
What to ask before you book a measure
- Do you manufacture, or do you resell? It changes lead times, it changes what happens when a panel needs remaking, and it changes what warranty is possible.
- Who does the measuring, and who carries the risk if it is wrong? On a custom product that cannot be returned, this is the single most expensive question.
- What material, and how does it handle a bathroom? Humidity is what kills timber shutters in Queensland.
- How long is the warranty, and does it transfer if I sell? Most do not.
- Is installation by your own team or subcontracted? Not automatically bad, but worth knowing who is turning up.
